Christopher A. Kouza – Chairman & Founder KOUZA Capital and KOUCAR
Christopher Kouza is a licensed attorney and American businessman. Growing up as a child, Christopher learned his business philosophy from his Father, Wijdi (Jack) Kouza Co-Founder and Vice President of Group 10 Management. While working with his Father, Christopher learned the business fundamentals of cost, quality, speed, and innovation.
Christopher’s legal career spans over a decade and in that time, he was an associate attorney for Cohen Lerner and Rabinovitz PC and later a partner and director of litigation for Aidenbaum Schloff and Bloom PC. As an attorney, Christopher handled complex litigation for privately held businesses and banking institutions. During his legal career Christopher represented banks and financial institutions such as: Peoples State Bank, Paramount Bank, Main Street Bank, Citizens Bank, Comerica Bank and various other financial institutions and credit unions. In 2009, Christopher was hired by People’s State Bank as Director of Managed Assets and First Vice President. In that capacity Christopher managed a one hundred-million-dollar bad debt portfolio.
Christopher has leveraged his education, business acumen, skills and family wealth to form Kouza Capital. Today Christopher Kouza’s companies own and manage in excess of 700-million-dollar portfolio of real estate, technology, and business holdings.
Joseph L. Caradonna – CEO & Chief Investment Officer
Joe is co-founder and serves as CEO and Chief Investment Officer. He has actively participated in executing each of Kouza’s acquisitions and is a board member on all of its portfolio company boards. Joe enjoys working with senior management as a trusted advisor and supporting the execution of organic and acquisitive growth plans. At the young age of 18 he left the family business and started a foundation contracting company, within eight years he grew that company to become one of the largest contracting businesses in Michigan. Joe’s work ethics, traditions and integrity are demonstrated in his management of all businesses he oversees. Joe studied engineering at Lawrence Technological University and a licensed builder for over 20 years. Growing up in the business, he learned all his lessons the hard way…by doing the work. Having completed or participated in over a half billion dollars of transactions, he is investor-focused and draws from nearly a half of a century of family experience of business operations.
